Letting your car run low or out of fluids can tear it up and/or cause large expenses. Be sure to check the following fluids. 1: Oil 2: Transmission fluid 3: Brake fluid 3: Power steering fluid 4: Water Be sure to not overfill.

Keep a check on your windshield wiper fluid you never know when you may need to use it.

If your vehicle has, a belt instead of a chain follow manufactures instructions on recommended replacement intervals.

7. Check Battery
Make sure your batteries cables and terminals are securely attached with no corrosion if your battery contains fluid be sure to check it as well.

8. Check Tires
Help keep yourself safe and off the side of the road check, your tires for proper tire inflation be sure to check for uneven wear, cuts and any sidewall bulges you may see.

10. Inspect Your Exhaust System
When you have your oil changed, have them, check for rusted through exhaust parts that need replaced and tighten any loose clamps you may have.

Remove your air filter and hold it up to a very bright light if you cannot see light through the filter it needs replaced.

Occasionally check your brake lights and taillights to be sure they are working if not check bulbs and replace if needed.

Remove debris with a very soft brush then use a detergent solution to wash the outside of the radiator to prevent overheating.

You can extend the paint job on your can as well as avoid rust by keeping your vehicle in a garage or carport.

Replace belts and hoses every 2-3 years even if they have no signs of wear and tear, should a belt become noisy you need to have it adjusted.
